A ball falls through a triangle of pegs. Each peg it clips knocks it slightly left or right, and after twelve rows those small deflections add up to a landing slot. Middle slots are far more likely than edge slots, which is why the edges pay so much more.
None of them, in terms of return — all three pay back roughly 99% of stakes over the long run. Low risk gives you many small results near your stake. High risk gives you mostly losses punctuated by the occasional large one. Pick the ride you prefer.
