Offers with several steps: how they pay, and how to see what is left

Many offers are not one job. A game might pay when you install it, again when you reach level 10, and again when you reach level 30. Each of those is a step, and each step has its own reward.

This post explains how these offers pay, and how to keep track of where you are.

What a step is

When you open an offer, the sheet lists its tasks in order. Each line has a name, like "Install and open" or "Reach level 10", and what it pays. The total at the top is all the steps added together.

You do not have to finish every step to be paid something. Each step pays on its own when our partner confirms you did it.

How you are paid for each step

  • You finish a step in the app or game.
  • The partner checks it. This can take a few minutes or longer. We cannot speed it up.
  • The reward shows in your Tasks with its own payday. Each step waits on its own, so an early step can be ready while a later one is still waiting.

Some offers pay part of a step early and the rest on its payday. Read why some rewards are ready sooner for how that works.

Where to see your progress

Once you press Start offer, the offer shows under Your offers on the home page and on the Tasks page in your profile. Each one shows:

  • how many steps are done, for example "2 of 7 done";
  • how much you have earned from it so far;
  • how much is still left to earn.

Tap it to see every step. Steps you have been paid for have a tick and say Paid. The others still show their number and reward. Press Keep going to go back into the offer.

An offer leaves the list when every step is done, or when you have not touched it for a month.

Tips before you start a long offer

  • Read every step first. The last steps often pay the most and take the longest. Decide if you will really get there.
  • Do the steps in order. Partners usually expect that.
  • Do not pay to reach a step. If a step asks you to buy something, think about whether that is worth it to you. You never have to.
  • Watch your data. Games can use a lot. See earning without burning your data.
  • Keep proof. A screenshot of your level helps if a step does not show up.

What if a step does not show as done?

The partner decides when a step counts, and it can take a while. If it still has not shown after a day, ask support from the help page and include your screenshot. A person will look at it. We cannot mark a step as done ourselves.

A partner can also take a step back if it decides it did not count. Then it shows as not done again.
