Refer a friend: how the 10% bonus really works

Inviting friends is one of the few ways to earn on Mocash without doing a task yourself. It is simple, but it has rules, and it helps to know them before you share your link.

What you get

When a friend you invited earns from a task, you get 10% of it. If their task pays R 20, you get R 2.

• It comes from us. Your friend still gets their full R 20. Nothing is taken from them.
• It lasts three months. You earn from your friend's tasks for three months from the day they used your link.
• It is paid when their reward is ready. Your bonus follows their task. If their reward is still waiting, so is your bonus.

How to invite someone

• Open your profile and tap Refer.
• Copy your link and send it to a friend, for example on WhatsApp.
• Your friend signs up using that link.

The link must be used within 7 days of your friend joining. A friend who signed up a month ago without your link cannot be added later.

Why a referral might not count

We check every referral. These do not pay:

• Referring yourself. A second account for yourself is not a friend, even with a different email.
• An account you made for someone else. Your friend must sign up and use the app themselves.
• The same person on both sides. If two accounts look like one person, for example the same phone, the referral does not pay.

If a referral was blocked and you are sure it was real, ask support. A person will look at it. The friend keeps their own account and money either way.

How much can you earn from referrals?

It depends on how much your friends earn, and nobody can promise that. One friend who does a few surveys a week earns you a few rand. Many friends who earn a lot earn you more. Be honest with the people you invite: tell them what the app is, and that it pays a little, not a salary.
